to make a pom pom.

HOW TO MAKE A  POM POM:
1.  For a small pom pom, wrap yarn around 4      fingers.
Large pom pom: wind around a piece of         cardboard 4 inches long.
Wind the yarn around approximately 30
to 40 times, depending on how large
you would like the pom pom.

2.  Slide the bundle off.

3  Tie in the center with yarn. (Use two or
    three strands for  strength.)

4.  Cut the loops open on both sides.

5.  Trim evenly, and use the yarn that
was used to tie into a bundle to tie the pom-pom onto the hat.
