FREE crochet pattern - LITTLE MONSTER DOLL

MATERIALS
Worsted weight yarn,    6.5 mm crochet hook,    yarn needle ,   2 Buttons,  fiber fill or cotton balls.

INSTRUCTIONS: Gauge not important. Works from the bottom up.  Use one or two strands of yarn.

1.  Chain as many chains as desired, in this sample, chain 10
2.  Single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each stitch of the chain.  Make 2 sc in the last
   stitch, then single crochet in each stitch down the other side of the chain, sc in the same stitch as the
   first stitch, slip stitch to join.
3.  *Chain 1 and turn, single crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join.
   Repeat from * for as many rows as needed for the length of the body of the doll, (15 rows in this sample.)
   Fasten off.  Stuff with body with fiberfill or cotton balls.
Arms and legs:  Chain 9, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and in each stitch of the chain.    
   *Chain 1 and turn, single crochet in each stitch across the row, repeat from * for: 2 more rows for legs,  
   4 more rows for arms.  Fasten off, fold and sew side seam and bottom seam, stuff with cotton, sew
   onto the body.
Face: Follow instructions for arms, making a total of 3 rows, fasten off, and sew onto the head.  Sew 2
   buttons on for eyes.
