Materials
Worsted weight yarn
6.5 mm crochet hook
yarn needle

1. Chain 6, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each stitch of the chain.
2. *Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch only, single crochet in each stitch across the row. Repeat from * until the rectangle is approx. 10 to 12 inches long. Fasten off with a long yarn end, thread it into a yarn needle. Fold the crochet strip in half, and weave the needle through the fold, pull to gather up. Wind the strip into a spiral, and sew all the layers together on the back of the flower, take several stitches to secure, and weave the yarn end into the finished work. Sew a button in the center of the flower.
